GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE (CGV)

These are the conditions of sale of The Antique Art Gallery EXCELLENCE (“Antique Art Gallery”, “we”, “us”), a CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT GROUP SAS company registered in France under SIREN number 825123912, and VAT number FR36825123912. The registered address of La Galerie d'Art Antique is 16 Avenue Jean Mermoz, 06230, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France. These conditions of sale specify the terms of sale of works by The Antique and Art Gallery EXCELLENCE in store and online at www.galexc.fr. The Antique and Art Gallery EXCELLENCE operates under the special regime for second-hand goods article 297A CGI, for the sale of antiques, works of art, collectibles and flea markets. The sale of works in France will be carried out under the margin regime, unless otherwise indicated. Deduction of input tax has not been and will not be claimed for works sold under the margin scheme. Sales of works outside France will be processed exempt from VAT.

 

PRODUCT DETAILS AND CONDITION

 

Artwork available from The Antique and Art Gallery EXCELLENCE is sourced from around the world and is chosen for its beauty and/or rarity and/or historical significance and/or demonstration of skill and craftsmanship. It should be noted that these works are old or vintage and, as such, it should be expected that there will be signs of wear. Upon request, we will provide a conditional report and additional images of the works. We will be happy to accommodate any reasonable inquiries to help you make a purchasing decision. Additional details provided such as attribution, description, date, age and country of origin are as accurate as possible but constitute our judgment and opinion and are not guaranteed by us. Dimensions provided are approximate and may include estimates in certain circumstances. We ask customers to clarify with us all the dimensions essential to their decision-making.

PAYMENT

 

Payment to The Antique and Art Gallery EXCELLENCE can be made via the website by debit or credit card if possible at the time of purchase. We accept payments by bank transfer. Please contact us if you would like to use alternative payment methods. Payment is usually required in full, but special payment terms may be available and, where appropriate, will be agreed in writing. Any failure to comply with the payment terms will result in interest charges of 4% per annum above the base rate of the Banque de France, from the payment due date until the payment date. We reserve the right to cancel any sale in the event of non-compliance with payment conditions. Any deposit agreed and paid to reserve or secure a work will not be refundable in the event of subsequent cancellation of the order or failure to comply with payment terms. We do not reserve items until payment is made in full, even if an invoice is issued. Our policy is “first paid – first served”. Full legal title to the works will not pass until payment has been received in full in cleared funds.

We inform you that, in accordance with our policy, all items purchased directly from our gallery cannot be returned or exchanged. Sales are final. We encourage you to check each piece carefully before finalizing your purchase. Do not hesitate to ask our team questions to obtain additional information on the works that interest you.
